V. Valima - Suon pinnassa exhibition

I was so lucky to have a chance to visit V. Valima's exhibition Suon pinnassa (On the surface of peatland) at Galleria Koppelo. This wonderful artist has really captured the nature of swamps in his paintings. He describes this wonderful arctic fragile peatland nature in a very delicate way.

Something about tile floors!

Kitchen needed a new floor. Tile is a very good choice for kitchen. It is easy to keep clean and you don't have to be so careful with the moist. There's so many lovely tile options in the market. Choosed this grey-brown moroccan ceramic tile for the kitchen. The seam plaster is dark grey. The tile is matching with wooden cabinets and gray stone worktops. Yes or no?

Loving wallpapers!

Loving wallpapers. Just can't get enough of them. It was so difficult to choose the wallpaper to this bedroom. There's so many beautiful wallpapers in the world. Endless job to make a decision. Ended up with this lovely Hollandaise design wallpaper with pioni.  I think it was a good choice for an old house. What do you think? 

The wallpaper goes well with the wooden bed.

Antique furniture & mixing old and new

This antique mahogany armoire is from the beginning of 1900 century. I find it kind of majestic piece of furniture; standing grand in the corner. Just love the hand carved details and the greatness of all.
