A bathroom design with an industrial twist

This bathroom design was a bit challenging with a rather small budget and small spaces. Most difficult part was to decide which tiles to choose. With this bathroom I ended up with white hexagon tile to the floor and partly to wall also. Walls were covered with grey 30x60 tiles which have a bit stony rough surface, feeling like concrete a bit. Also the white hexagon tile is a bit rough to prevent from being slippery when whet.

The hexagon tile continues on the wall,
giving the space a rhythm.

Shower glass wall divides the space and
protects the cabinet from excessive water.

The black rainfall shower, the black metal towel knobs and the towel bar give the space an industrial twist. The oak wood cabinet goes nicely with the grey tone of the walls. I find the colours and tones relaxing and very suitable to this rather small bathroom to give a harmony to the space.

The mood.

The colours and the atmosphere.

The design was extended to the toilet next to the bathroom. I continued with the same theme to give the two spaces a similar atmosphere. The most important thing with this small toilet was to make the space functional. A wide oak wood drawer was designed under the sink. The drawers have smaller compartments inside to keep thins in order. All bathroom decoration and also the lighting were chosen carefully to follow the clear but slightly industrial theme. Also the black stone sink goes along with this. The tiles are exactly the same as in the bathroom to combine the spaces. The white hexagon tile covers the wall behind the sink and counter.

The black stone sink gives a nice contrast to the oak wood counter.

A round mirror goes well with the hexagon tile.
